Chaola Mountain Tunnel visit

On June 22nd, The president of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze visited the National Road 317 Chaola  Mountain Tunnel Q2 tender section, in the company of the leaders from the Local transportation bureau and the Public Security Bureau. The visit was to ensure that the project would be completed on time, to budget and be of a high quality. Strict demands have been placed on the supervision work that the GRT is undertaking. The tunnel currently being built which is part of a highest altitude super-long highway tunnel in the world, is expected to be complete by the end of this September.
